Your Reading service desk.

We are based at Unit 6, 60 Portman Road, Reading, RG30 1EA. You can visit our office, and our engineers work across Berkshire and the Thames Valley.

Remote support is the first step where it can resolve the issue. When the work needs an engineer on site, we arrange attendance within the agreed support service.

Our team supports businesses in defence, engineering and financial services as well as smaller local organisations.

What your quote covers

The published user rate includes endpoint and identity threat detection and response. Your service schedule defines the supported systems, MDR arrangements and human response hours.

Servers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, backup and certification are separate monthly lines. Supplier costs and additional services are identified in the quote.

Start with your user count, sites and the work you want us to own. We review the environment, agree a realistic handover and coordinate access with your current provider.

A security review.
Twelve risks addressed.

A professional services engagement that continued into managed IT.

The assessment found twelve distinct risks, several critical. We confirmed the findings, prioritised the remediation and worked through them until every risk was closed and documented.

What we support

Your service schedule records the systems, responsibilities and support window in scope. We can retain the supported technology and subscriptions you already use.

An unlimited service desk means no per-ticket charge for work within the agreed scope. On-site attendance, projects, licences and additional systems follow the commercial schedule.

Configured monitoring runs continuously. Human investigation and response follow your contracted service window, with MDR and extended cover agreed in writing.

Across Reading and the Thames Valley

Local when the work needs it.

Remote support is the first step where it resolves the issue. Planned visits and on-site attendance cover the agreed locations and systems, with response commitments set in your service schedule.

Your Reading service desk stays responsible for the ticket through technical or supplier escalation.

Common questions

Where are you based, and which areas do you cover?

Our office is at Unit 6, 60 Portman Road, Reading, RG30 1EA. We provide on-site IT support across Reading and Berkshire, including the town centre, Green Park, Thames Valley Park, Theale, Bracknell, Wokingham, Newbury, Maidenhead, Slough, Windsor, Basingstoke, and Henley-on-Thames. For clients further afield we provide remote support nationwide.

Do you offer on-site support, or only remote?

Both. We start remotely where that can resolve the issue. When the work needs an engineer on site, we arrange attendance across Berkshire and the Thames Valley as part of the agreed support service.

Do you only support businesses, or do you help home users too?

We provide business IT support in Reading, from small teams to larger regulated organisations, including defence, engineering and financial services. We do not offer home or consumer IT support.

How quickly will you respond?

Response targets are agreed in writing, with priority based on business impact and urgency. Our standard service window is 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding England and Wales public holidays. Extended cover and on-site attendance are agreed in your service schedule. Continuous monitoring does not mean an engineer is staffed at all times.

How much does IT support in Reading cost?

The standard managed support rate is £65 per user per month, excluding VAT, with a £650 minimum monthly charge. Endpoint and identity threat detection and response are included in the published user rate; coverage and response hours follow your service schedule. Volume discounts start at twenty users, and longer terms cost less. Servers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, backup and certification are separate monthly lines. See our pricing for the full rate card.

What's included in managed IT services for a Reading business?

Your agreed service can cover an unlimited helpdesk for work in scope, on-site support, monitoring and patching, Microsoft 365 management, backup and disaster recovery, cloud hosting, connectivity and managed detection and response. The schedule identifies the supported systems, included activities, charges and response hours. See our full managed IT services for the detail.

We are switching from another provider. How long does that take?

The initial review establishes the size and state of your environment, access arrangements and supplier dependencies. We agree a realistic timeline, coordinate a controlled handover and put agreed monitoring and security in place. The move is planned to minimise disruption to your team.

Can you help with Cyber Essentials and compliance for a regulated Thames Valley business?

Yes. We are Cyber Essentials Plus certified and an appointed Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus certification body. We are certified to ISO 27001 by a UKAS-accredited certification body. Preparation and formal assessment have separate responsibilities and records. Explore our cyber security services and governance and audit.
