Fully managed

We run it, we secure it, and your people call us. The base every managed client starts from.

£65 per user, per month, excluding VAT

£650 monthly minimum, which is about ten people. Below that, co-managed or a one-off project is usually the better fit.

Unlimited service desk, no per-ticket billing
Endpoint and identity threat detection and response
24/7 infrastructure monitoring and alerting
Microsoft 365 management, and licences at Microsoft's price
Windows and macOS, patching, and a monthly written risk report

Co-managed

You have your own people and want the tooling, the monitoring and somewhere to escalate. You keep first line, you pay less.

from £22 per user, per month, plus engineer time

The platform fee covers monitoring, patching, the security baseline and escalation. Engineer time is bought as a committed monthly block, discounted against our day rate.

How co-managed works

What is added as its own line

Servers, virtual instances, firewalls, Wi-Fi, VPN, VoIP, backup for mailboxes, SharePoint and servers, vulnerability scanning, mobile device management and DSCS Protect 365 are each priced separately, because a business with four sites and two hypervisors is not the same job as one with a cupboard and a broadband router. Every one of those rates is published, on the full rate card.

DSCS Protect 365 is our own managed security layer over Microsoft 365, adding zero trust conditional access, a SIEM we monitor, and managed detection and response across the tenant. It is our work, so we price it. The Microsoft licences underneath it are not.

What we do not mark up

Microsoft 365 licences are supplied on our CSP agreement at Microsoft's current price with no markup, and we show you the invoice. That covers every plan, from Business Basic and Business Standard through Business Premium to the Enterprise and Project plans. Licence administration sits inside the per-user fee. Certification scheme fees, domain and certificate registrations, carrier charges and backup software licensing are passed through the same way. Hardware is the one exception, at cost plus 8 per cent, because sourcing, asset tagging, warranty registration and keeping the asset register current is work we do.

Pricing / 02 · What we certify

Cyber Essentials

We are an appointed certification body. There are three ways to buy it, and the monthly figure is only one of them.

01

Assess only

You are confident you already meet the five controls. We assess and certify you, and charge the IASME scheme fee with nothing added. Priced on the Cyber Essentials page.

02

Find out first

A fixed-price gap analysis tells you what will fail before you commit to anything: £950 for Cyber Essentials, £1,500 for Plus. You fix what it finds, or we quote to. You get the findings either way.

03

Managed, from £85 a month

Holding the certification rather than achieving it once: controls managed, remediation included, evidence maintained, and the annual recertification handled, with the IASME scheme fee included. Cyber Essentials Plus from £265 a month. Both banded by headcount, and a second entity in the same group is half price.

Why remediation is not a published figure. What it takes to make an estate pass depends on the estate, and nobody honest can price that before looking at it. That is what the gap analysis is for: a fixed price, a written answer, and a real quote for whatever it finds. Preparation and formal assessment are separate pieces of work, and where separation of duties matters we say so and keep the roles apart.

Pricing / 03 · What we build and prove

Software, AI and audit projects

A ten times range is not an estimate. So we sell the two days that turn it into one number.

Every project starts with a fixed-price discovery at £1,500, which is 2 days of work and produces a written scope and a firm quote. It is credited against the build if it goes ahead, so it costs you nothing if you proceed and it costs you a scope document if you do not.

For planning only, before any scoping: small automation typically runs from £2,000, a custom build from £5,000, and a legacy modernisation from £15,000. Audits, compliance readiness and ISO 27001 programmes are banded on the full rate card. Those ranges are wide because the work genuinely varies, which is exactly why the discovery exists. Nothing starts without a written scope and a price you have approved.

Pricing / 04 · What moves the figure

Why your quote might differ

The rates are fixed. What a consultation settles is the scope.

01
How many people

Volume discounts are available from twenty people upward. Your fee never rises because you added someone: where a band change lowers it, you get the lower figure.

02
Sites, servers and infrastructure

Each site, firewall, physical host and virtual instance is its own published line. Four offices and two hypervisors is a different job from one office and a router.

03
Hours you need covered

Standard cover is 07:30 to 18:00 UK, Monday to Friday, and 24/7 monitoring is included. Extended hours for a US or India working day, and out-of-hours on-call, are priced per organisation rather than per user, because a standby rota does not scale with headcount.

04
Compliance you work to

Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 or Defence Cyber Certification change what evidence has to be maintained, and that is real ongoing work.

05
Term, and who you are

Discounts are usually available on volume, on a longer term, and for registered charities. We confirm the exact figures with your quote rather than publishing every multiplier here.

06
Above 100 people

We quote one fixed monthly figure after a consultation rather than a per-seat rate, because that is how organisations of that size compare providers.

Pricing / 05 · Service levels

Response is committed. Resolution is a target.

We commit to how fast someone picks your ticket up, because that is ours to control, and those times carry service credits if we miss them. A service-down or critical incident is picked up in 15 minutes.

We do not guarantee resolution times. Resolution depends on the fault: a failed mainboard cannot be repaired to a clock, and a supplier who promises otherwise is either not counting or not telling you. So resolution targets are published, measured, and reported to you every month, and they sit alongside the committed response times on the full rate card with the credit regime.

One thing worth saying because most contracts hide it: the service level clock pauses while we are waiting on an authorisation from you. If you run a named-approver change gate, your own process would otherwise breach our SLA.

Questions we get asked

How much does managed IT support cost?

Managed IT support is £65 per user per month, excluding VAT, with a £650 monthly minimum. Endpoint and identity threat detection and response, 24/7 monitoring, patching, Microsoft 365 administration and an unlimited service desk are inside that figure. Servers, firewalls, Wi-Fi, backup and certification are priced as their own monthly lines, all published on our full rate card. Volume discounts are available from twenty people.

Why is there a minimum charge?

Because below about ten people a managed service costs more to run properly than it can be sold for, and we would rather say so than take the work and do it badly. The minimum is £650 a month. If you are smaller than that, co-managed IT from £22 per user, or a one-off piece of project work, is usually the better fit.

Do you charge more for Macs?

No. macOS is £65 per user per month, the same as Windows. A covered user's primary mobile device is managed through Intune at no extra charge, and additional enrolled phones and tablets are a published per-device rate.

What do you charge on Microsoft 365 licences?

Nothing. Licences are supplied on our CSP agreement at Microsoft's current published price with no markup, and we show you the invoice. Licence administration, provisioning, reclamation and plan changes are included in the per-user fee. We do not publish Microsoft's prices because they are not ours to fix, and a rate card that quotes them goes stale on Microsoft's schedule rather than ours.

Is the Cyber Essentials monthly figure the cost of certification?

It is more than that. It covers holding the certification continuously: the controls managed, remediation included, the evidence maintained, and the annual recertification handled, with the IASME scheme fee included in the figure. There is nothing else to pay to stay certified. If you only want a single assessment, that is cheaper and is priced on the Cyber Essentials page. Where separation of duties matters, we say so and keep the roles apart.

Why do you not guarantee a resolution time?

Because resolution depends on the fault. We commit to response times, which are ours to control, and they carry service credits. Resolution targets are published, measured and reported to you every month, but a failed mainboard or a third-party outage cannot be repaired to a clock, and a supplier who promises otherwise is either not counting or not telling you.

What does a website or a software build cost?

It starts with a fixed-price discovery at £1,500 for 2 days, which produces a written scope and a firm quote, credited against the build if it proceeds. For planning: small automation from £2,000, a custom build from £5,000, legacy modernisation from £15,000. Those are deliberately wide, which is exactly why we sell the two days that turn a range into one number.

Is this the price I will actually pay?

These are our standard published rates and we quote from them, so the arithmetic in your proposal starts here. What we confirm in writing after a consultation is the scope: how many people, how many sites and servers, what hours you need covered and what compliance you work to. All figures excluding VAT, and the rates were last reviewed on 27 August 2026.

01
Published rates, quoted from

The figures here are the ones we quote from. Standard rates revision 2026.10, reviewed 27 August 2026.

02
One predictable monthly figure

Your managed fee is the figure we agreed. Work outside that scope is quoted before it starts, so it does not appear on an invoice unannounced.

03
No hourly billing inside scope

The service desk is unlimited. Our hourly rate exists for work outside the agreed scope, and we tell you before the clock starts.

04
Third-party costs shown, not marked up

Microsoft licences, scheme fees, registrations and carrier charges appear at cost as their own line. Hardware is the one exception.

05
Terms and notice in writing

The term and the notice period are set out with the quote, before you sign anything.

06
Scale up or down

Per-user billing flexes with headcount, and volume discounts arrive as you grow.
