Close the most common ways in.

Almost every attack on a business starts in one of two places: an email, or a device. Get email and endpoint security right and you shut the door on the bulk of real world threats, from phishing and stolen passwords to malware on a laptop. We set up and run the protection properly, on the systems you already use, and watch over it so it keeps working.

Email and endpoint / 01 · What it is

The two doors attackers knock on first.

Email security protects against phishing, impersonation, and malicious attachments and links, the route most attacks actually take. Endpoint security protects the devices your people work on, laptops, desktops, and phones, against malware and misuse. Together they close the most common ways into a business, which is why they are the controls worth getting right before anything fancier.

01EmailFiltering, anti phishing, and impersonation protection on the inbox attackers target.
02IdentityMulti factor authentication and conditional access, so a stolen password is not enough.
03DevicesEndpoint protection and managed updates across laptops, desktops, and phones.
04DataSensible controls so the wrong information cannot leave by the wrong route.
Email and endpoint / 02 · What we do

Set up properly, and kept that way.

Most businesses already own the tools to do this well, often inside Microsoft 365, and simply have not had them set up and maintained properly. We configure the protection to a sensible standard and keep it current, rather than leaving the defaults switched off.

01Filter

Email protection

Filtering and anti phishing tuned to catch the malicious mail that gets through the basics, plus protection against the impersonation and business email compromise that targets your people directly.

02Verify

Identity and access

Multi factor authentication and conditional access set up properly across your accounts, so a stolen password on its own does not let an attacker in. The single highest value control most businesses miss.

03Protect

Endpoint protection

Modern endpoint protection on every device, with the security updates managed centrally so machines stay patched. We use the tools you have, including Microsoft Defender, configured to actually work.

Data protection controls

Sensible data loss prevention so confidential information cannot leave by the wrong route by accident, scoped to what your business actually handles rather than a blanket lockdown.

Email and endpoint / 03 · How it works

From exposed to protected, without the disruption.

Tightening security should not stop your people working. We roll it out in a considered order, so protection goes up while day to day work carries on.

01

Review

We check what is already turned on, what is misconfigured, and where the real exposure is across email, identity, and devices.

02

Configure

We set up the protection to a sensible standard, starting with the highest value controls like multi factor authentication and email filtering.

03

Roll out

We deploy it across your people and devices in a planned way, with clear guidance, so the change lands without breaking the working day.

04

Maintain and watch

We keep it current and, for managed clients, watch over it as part of detection and response, so it keeps protecting you over time.

Already on Microsoft 365? You likely own most of what you need. The gap is usually configuration and upkeep, not licensing, and that is exactly what we put right.
Email and endpoint / 04 · The proof

The basics, done properly, stop most attacks.

We rolled out a full security hardening across a business already paying for the right licences but barely using them. Multi factor authentication switched on across the board, email protection tuned, endpoints protected and patched, and data controls put in place. None of it exotic, all of it the controls attackers count on you neglecting. The result was a business genuinely harder to attack, using tools it already owned. That is the point of email and endpoint security: it is not about buying more, it is about using what you have, properly.

FAQ

Common questions

What is endpoint security?

Endpoint security protects the devices your people work on, such as laptops, desktops, and phones, against malware, unauthorised access, and misuse. Modern endpoint protection does more than traditional antivirus: it watches for suspicious behaviour and can isolate a device if it is compromised. Paired with managed security updates, so machines stay patched, it closes one of the two most common ways attackers get into a business.

Why is email the biggest risk?

Because it targets people, not just technology. Phishing, impersonation, and business email compromise trick someone into clicking a link, opening an attachment, or handing over a password or payment. No firewall stops a convincing email. Good email security filters the malicious mail, flags impersonation attempts, and checks links and attachments, which removes a large share of the threats a business actually faces.

Do I need this if I already have Microsoft 365?

Usually you already own most of the tools, but they are rarely set up to their potential. Microsoft 365, especially the Business Premium licence, includes strong email protection, endpoint security with Defender, multi factor authentication, and data controls. The common gap is configuration and upkeep, not licensing. We turn on and tune what you are already paying for, so you get the protection without buying more.

Is multi factor authentication really necessary?

It is one of the single most effective controls you can put in place. Stolen and guessed passwords are behind a huge share of account takeovers, and multi factor authentication means a password on its own is no longer enough to get in. It is also expected by Cyber Essentials and most cyber insurers. We set it up properly across your accounts, with conditional access so it is strong without getting in your people's way.

Will tightening security slow my team down?

Done well, barely at all. The aim is protection that is strong and quiet, not a lockdown that makes work painful and gets worked around. We roll changes out in a planned order, configure controls like conditional access so they only challenge people when something looks genuinely risky, and give clear guidance. Good security should fade into the background, not become a daily obstacle.

Shut the door on the obvious attacks.

Book a security review and we will tell you plainly where you are exposed across email, identity, and devices, and what it takes to close it, usually with tools you already own. We reply within one working day, and you will speak to an engineer, not a salesperson.
