Office and field teams
Manage laptops, phones, work accounts and access to Microsoft 365. Agree connectivity responsibilities, support hours and the information people need when moving between offices and sites.
Solar / Wind / Storage / Energy services
Support office teams, field staff and project partners with controlled access to the systems and information they need.
Managed and co-managed IT, Microsoft 365, cyber security and software for developers, installers, operators and suppliers across the UK.

The working environment
Solar, wind, battery storage and EV charging projects bring together permanent staff, contractors and specialist suppliers. Plan the IT around those relationships.
Manage laptops, phones, work accounts and access to Microsoft 365. Agree connectivity responsibilities, support hours and the information people need when moving between offices and sites.
Organise drawings, surveys, contracts and handover documents. Set up named access, sharing approvals and expiry dates so permissions change when a contractor leaves or a project completes.
Identify the applications and data you need to restore, who owns each dependency and how recovery will be tested. Include the contacts and escalation routes for systems managed by other suppliers.
Run / Secure / Build / Prove
Choose a managed service, additional capacity for your IT team, or a defined project. The proposal sets out systems, responsibilities and response arrangements.
Day-to-day support, device management, account changes, agreed maintenance and recovery checks. Co-managed support can take ownership of specific queues or platforms while your team controls priorities and approvals.
Review multi-factor authentication, administrator accounts, email protection and endpoints. Agree how external access is approved, logged and removed. Detection, human response and incident escalation follow the service scope.
Connect CRM, job management, finance and reporting systems. Scope document approvals, contractor onboarding or project handover workflows, with permissions, validation and support agreed during discovery.
Prepare the asset, access, supplier, policy and recovery records required by the review. We can support ISO 27001 readiness or CAF alignment against the agreed scope, with formal assessment responsibilities identified separately.
Cyber security requirements
A customer questionnaire, certification request and regulatory assessment can require different work. Bring the actual requirement and deadline.
Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus or ISO 27001 may be requested in a contract or supplier review. Check the required scope and evidence before choosing the preparation and assessment route.
Network and Information Systems (NIS) duties depend on your essential-service role, statutory scope and the relevant authority's requirements. Working in renewables alone does not establish whether you are in scope. Check the applicable thresholds or designation and assessment approach before selecting a CAF profile.
We are an appointed certification body for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus, and assured under the NCSC Cyber Advisor scheme. ISO 27001 preparation is separate from certification by an accredited certification body.
Ownership and changes
Business IT can exchange data with systems that run an energy site. The support agreement needs to make those connections and responsibilities explicit. Business IT supporting an essential service can still form part of the operator's regulatory scope.
Questions
We can scope business IT, Microsoft 365, cyber security and software for developers, installers, operators and their suppliers. We first review the users, sites, applications and specialist-system boundaries, then agree the work DSC will own.
Yes. Co-managed IT assigns the platforms, tasks and support queues DSC will handle. Your team retains agreed approvals and priorities, with named responsibilities for changes, incidents and supplier escalations.
No. NIS duties depend on your essential-service role, statutory scope and the relevant authority's requirements, including applicable thresholds or designation. A customer may also ask a supplier for CAF-based evidence through a contract. Confirm the requirement, scope and assessment approach before starting the work.
Our starting scope is business IT. SCADA, plant controls and safety systems remain with the responsible operator and specialist suppliers unless separately assessed and agreed. Access, changes and incident handovers must follow the operator's engineering and safety procedures.
Yes. We are an appointed certification body for both schemes. We agree the assessment scope and identify any preparation work separately. Certification depends on meeting the applicable requirements; it does not certify an energy site's operational safety.
We are based in Reading, Berkshire, and can scope remote support and planned site attendance across the UK. The proposal sets out supported systems, connectivity responsibilities, access arrangements, response hours and travel.
