Microsoft 365 migration and management.

A planned migration. A well-managed tenant. Support for the people who use it.

We manage identity, devices, email and collaboration alongside your internal IT team, or as part of a full managed service. Projects, ongoing administration and licences are scoped clearly.

Email, Teams, SharePoint, and the security around them.

We take care of the agreed administration: starters and leavers, shared and resource mailboxes, mail flow, licences, Teams, SharePoint and identity settings. Your organisation keeps ownership of its information and business decisions.

For internal IT teams
Take on selected administration, specialist security configuration or a migration while your team retains its priorities and approvals.
For several tenants
Each tenant is administered separately unless consolidation is commissioned. We record the owners and scope for each.
For a changing estate
Agree a configuration baseline, approve material changes and maintain a record of exceptions and follow-up actions.

From migration to ongoing management.

Choose a defined project, ongoing administration or specialist capacity alongside your own team. The scope records supported services, responsibilities and the licences needed.

Migration and setup

Moves from Google Workspace, on-premises Exchange, IMAP or another Microsoft 365 tenant. We map users, mail, files and dependencies, test the transfer and agree the cutover and acceptance checks.

How we plan a migration

Identity and access

Microsoft Entra ID, multi-factor authentication, Conditional Access, administrator roles and account lifecycle. We agree access rules, emergency access arrangements and approvals, then test policy changes before wider deployment.

Conditional Access licensing

Conditional Access requires Entra ID P1; risk-based policies require P2. We check the entitlements for the people and features in scope. Microsoft's Conditional Access licensing requirements.

Device management

Intune enrolment, configuration and compliance policies for agreed devices, where appropriately licensed. We document ownership, exceptions and the support boundary for personal devices before applying controls.

You approve the policy; we record the configuration and changes.

Security and compliance

Microsoft Defender for Office 365, email filtering, audit logging and data loss prevention, according to the subscription and agreed scope. We map technical evidence to Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and your GDPR requirements.

DLP licensing and scope

DLP for Exchange, SharePoint and OneDrive has different licensing requirements from Teams chat or endpoint DLP. Configuration work does not itself certify compliance. Microsoft's Purview service and licensing guidance.

SharePoint and Teams

SharePoint intranets and document repositories, Teams, OneDrive, site ownership and external sharing rules. We work with the people responsible for the information to agree access and how it is maintained.

Power Automate workflows and Microsoft Copilot need defined owners and data governance. New automation or integration development is scoped through our software service.

Licensing and management

Licence advice, CSP supply, allocation, renewal reviews and cost control. We compare the needs of your user groups and required controls before recommending Business, Enterprise or other applicable plans.

Microsoft subscriptions are charged separately from our work. Where administration is included in managed IT, the underlying licences still have their own charge.

Business Premium and enterprise licensing

A move planned to minimise disruption.

We agree the migration with your IT lead and affected service owners. Data volumes, source systems, access, third-party dependencies and working hours shape the plan.

  1. Map and plan

Inventory users, mailboxes, files, sharing permissions and application dependencies. Agree what moves, what stays, exceptions and the tests required for acceptance.

  2. Migrate cleanly

Test with an agreed pilot group. Sequence the transfer and cutover, communicate user actions and record the recovery steps if a stage needs to be stopped.

  3. Secure and verify

Apply the agreed, licensed controls. Check data transfer, sign-in, mail flow and collaboration, then hand over documentation and any outstanding actions.

What is Microsoft 365 Business Premium?

Business Premium combines Microsoft 365 productivity services with Entra ID P1, Intune Plan 1, Defender for Business and Defender for Office 365 Plan 1. It also includes defined Purview information protection and DLP capabilities. Microsoft's Business Premium security overview.

Match the licence to the role

Microsoft's Business plans are designed for organisations with up to 300 users. For larger organisations, we assess enterprise plans such as Microsoft 365 E3 and E5 against user roles and required controls.

Business, Enterprise and standalone subscriptions can coexist in one tenant, subject to their licence terms. A mixed estate needs a check of each user's entitlements. Microsoft's plan options and limits.

Confirm the features you need

Teams entitlement depends on the subscription purchased. Advanced security, compliance, Copilot and Power Automate capabilities may require additional licences. We check the exact requirements before recommending a change.

Microsoft 365 licences are supplied through our CSP agreement at Microsoft price, with no markup and the invoice shown. Migration, administration and any additional services are set out in your quote.

Common questions

Can you migrate us to Microsoft 365 without disrupting our team?

We plan to minimise disruption by mapping the source systems, running an agreed pilot and sequencing the cutover around your working hours. We migrate from Google Workspace, on-premises Exchange, IMAP and other platforms. The plan records transfer checks, user actions, dependencies and recovery steps; the exact impact depends on the environment.

Is Microsoft 365 backed up automatically?

Microsoft 365 has built-in service resilience, retention and recovery capabilities, each with limits. A dedicated backup requires protection to be configured, whether through Microsoft 365 Backup or a third-party service. We agree protected data, retention, recovery priorities and tests. See our backup and disaster recovery service.

Which Microsoft 365 licence do we need?

We assess user roles, applications, security and compliance requirements. Business Premium is designed for organisations with up to 300 users; larger organisations should consider enterprise plans. Mixed plans can be used subject to the licence terms. We check Teams, advanced security, DLP, Copilot and automation entitlements for the features you need, then quote current subscription costs separately.

How do you secure Microsoft 365?

We agree an identity and security baseline, including MFA, appropriately licensed Conditional Access, administrator permissions, device management, Defender, email filtering, audit logging and DLP where in scope. We test changes and document exceptions. The work can support Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001 and GDPR requirements; it does not automatically certify compliance.

Do you manage Microsoft 365 ongoing, or just set it up?

Both. Ongoing work can include account and licence changes, new starters and leavers, mailboxes, Teams, SharePoint, agreed identity configuration and support. It can sit alongside your own IT team, within full managed IT, or in a standalone agreement. Standard human support hours are 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday, excluding England and Wales public holidays; extended cover is agreed separately.
