Can you migrate us to Microsoft 365 without disrupting our team?
We plan the move to minimise disruption. We migrate from Google Workspace, on-premises Exchange, IMAP servers, and other platforms with your data preserved, and we sequence the work so staff can keep working. We map your current mail and files first, migrate in a controlled way, switch on security, and verify everything before we hand back. Avoiding a day of lost email is the whole point.
Is Microsoft 365 backed up automatically?
Not in the way many people assume. Microsoft keeps the service running, but recovering your own data after accidental deletion, a malicious user, or a ransomware event is your responsibility. That is why we add a dedicated backup for SharePoint, OneDrive, and Outlook as part of the setup. See our backup and disaster recovery service for how that works.
Which Microsoft 365 licence do we need?
It depends on how many people you have, what they use, and how much security you need. Business Premium suits most businesses that want security included, but a different tier sometimes fits better. We help you choose the right licence and can provide it through our CSP partnership, and we will not sell you more than you need.
How do you secure Microsoft 365?
We switch on and configure the controls: multi-factor authentication, Conditional Access policies, Microsoft Defender for Office 365, data loss prevention, email filtering, and audit logging. These align with Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, and GDPR. These are the controls an attacker tests first, so we configure and check each one rather than leaving it at the default.
Do you manage Microsoft 365 ongoing, or just set it up?
Both, and ongoing management is where the value sits. We handle licence changes, new starters and leavers, security policy updates, and day-to-day support, and we keep the platform optimised as Microsoft changes it. It can be part of our full managed IT support or a standalone arrangement, whichever suits.
