IASME

Compliance

Certification body and governance organisation for Cyber Essentials and related schemes.

IASME (Information Assurance for Small and Medium Enterprises) is the partner organisation delivering the Cyber Essentials scheme alongside NCSC. IASME accredits certification bodies to assess organisations for Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus. They also offer IASME Cyber Assurance, a more comprehensive certification including GDPR and broader security management. IASME maintains the Cyber Essentials question set and assessment process.

Why It Matters

The DSC Perspective:

IASME governs Cyber Essentials certification. Ensure your chosen assessor is IASME-accredited. IASME Cyber Assurance provides a broader certification option if you want more than basic Cyber Essentials.
