Advanced Endpoint Protection

Cyber Security

Next-generation endpoint security using AI and behavioural analysis to detect sophisticated threats.

Advanced Endpoint Protection (AEP) refers to endpoint security solutions that go beyond signature-based detection to identify sophisticated and unknown threats. AEP uses machine learning, behavioural analysis, and threat intelligence to detect attacks that traditional antivirus misses—including zero-day exploits, fileless malware, and targeted attacks. AEP typically includes exploit prevention, script control, and application whitelisting alongside traditional malware detection. The term is often used interchangeably with next-generation antivirus (NGAV).

Why It Matters

The DSC Perspective:

Traditional antivirus only catches known threats. AEP protects against sophisticated attacks that signatures miss. Essential for organisations facing targeted threats or needing protection against advanced malware.
